Our July meeting will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2009, at 3:00 pm at Dino's Pizza in Brewer, Maine. Here are directions to Dino's Pizza.

Our theme is Showstoppers. A showstopper is a performance that evokes so much applause from the audience that the show is temporarily interrupted. Most of us know magic that introduces us, develops character or mood, or provides a pleasant interval in a series of performances. What we all yearn for is magic that makes people go completley wild. These are the big closers, or the moves that serve as big applause cues in the middle of a sequence. Professor Miller will be the Theme Leader for Showstoppers.

Dr. Wilson will offer a Teaching Table on Wagers. Wagers of various kinds are part of the confidence man's arsenal. For this unique Teaching Table, Ring members will have the opportunity to put up small amounts of money on various Wagers in a carefully structured program. If Ring members prevail, they will go home with some extra money. If Dr. Wilson is successful, any funds won will be donated to the Ring's General Fund. Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn the skills needed to live on very little of your own money.
