Our February meeting will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2010, at 3:00 pm at Pizza Oven of Bangor.

The theme of the meeting is Commando Cards, featuring card effects that can be performed impromptu with a borrowed deck. Perhaps this has happened to you: you are at a social gathering and are approached by someone holding a deck of cards.

"I hear that you are a magician," they say. "Show me something." You are not going to be able to do anything with an elaborate set-up of the deck, nor can you mangle any of the cards by signing or tearing them. You can't use any cards that aren't already in the deck, nor can you use any magician's mechanical contrivances.

It's just you and the borrowed deck. Let's see what you can do. Dr. Wilson will be the Theme Leader for Commando Cards.
