PHIL SMITH BECOMES 2007 ELLIOTT CARD CHAMPION!

April 29, 2007. Phil Smith is the Elliott Card Champion for 2007, having won the second annual Dr. James William Elliott Card Challenge in Rumford, Maine, on April 29.

Phil Smith emerged as the 2007 Elliott Card Champion from a field of formidable contestants in front of an audience that included members of the public. Phil was declared the Elliott Card Champion by a tally of the votes of eleven members of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Also competing were Danny Baker, Wes Booth (2006 Elliott Card Champion), The Great Stephan, and TVP Bob Nixon.

BROTHER DON PAUL SCORES DOUBLE PLAY IN PARLOR MAGIC!

Brother Don Paul Malini Contest
Contestants honored in the 2007 Max Malini Parlor Magic Contest were Brother Don Paul (First Place and People's Choice), shown in the photo at left and in the center in the photo on the right, Conjuring Carroll (Second Place), rightmost in right photo, and Danny Baker (Third Place), leftmost in right photo.

June 10, 2007. Brother Don Paul, performing as the mysterious Baxter, is the Malini Contest Winner for 2007, having won the first annual Max Malini Parlor Magic Contest in Bangor, Maine, on June 10. Brother Don distinguished himself by winning both the judge's award of First Place and the vote for People's Choice.

Conjuring Carroll took the judge's award of second place while Danny Baker took third place. Also competing were Roland Perry and Dr. Wilson.

PROFESSOR MILLER TAKES TOP HONORS AT
CHUNG LING SOO STAGE MAGIC COMPETITION!

Chung Ling Soo 2007

The first annual Chung Ling Soo Stage Magic Competition was held on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 7:00 pm at the All Souls Congregational Church in Bangor, Maine.

Professor Miller (center in photo above) was awarded first place for his performance of the Chinese Rings. Danny Baker (left) placed second, and Jev Jesun of Boston (right) placed third.
